2001~September
           Black Eyed Peas were nominated for a MTV  Video Music Award for Best Hip-Hip Video ("Request Line")

2003~July
         They hit the Top 10 with "Where is the Love?"

2006~February
         Won a Grammy award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group ("Don't Phunk With My    Heart"), and were nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group("Don't Lie"), and and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals (" Gone Going" with Jack Johnson)

2007~July
        On the 7th, the Black Eyed Peas performed at the Live Earth concert in the UK. The 7-continent concert organized by Al Gore brought together over 100 artists to perform and raise the world's awareness about the climate crisis and how to make a difference to help the environment and the world.

2009~March
         The Black Eyed Peas hit the Top 40 with Boom Boom Pow
        ~June
         The Black Eyed Peas release The E.N.D( Energy Never Dies)

2010~February
          Black Eyed Peas won 3 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group( " I Gotta Feeling"), Best Pop Vocal Album  (The E.N.D{Energy Never Dies}), and Best Music Video, Short Form (" Boom Boom  Pow")

Making Maps

   For the class assignment a few days ago, we had to make a map,preferably a bus route.Monie and I decided not to do a bus route because neither of us ride the city bus.The assignment was to pick a place and and write down directions to get to our school.We chose a local college university as our place because it's only,like,a minute away( ^^ smart!!).Anyway, Monie started the map but was absent from school the last few days we could work on the assignment so I finished it up.I think I did OK...It's actually kind of embarrassing that I've lived here for most of my life and I still don't know some these street names.Oh well!

Making "The E.N.D."

   Making this blog was fairly easy. Monie and I just set up an email and then had to just design-which is a process.Anyway,we made this blog to talk about going-ons in Language Arts and the Black Eyed Peas,whom we chose at random.It was a decision between them, Madonna, and Beyonce.(Personally,I wanted to blog about Beyonce BUT certain classmates "claimed" everything "Bee-noncay" soooo...)
   That's all there is to say about making this blog...well,I guess I'll just throw in there that it took me FOREVER to remember the password but that's neither here nor there.
